Job Description

Brainbridge International School is seeking an experienced and people-centric HR Manager to lead and manage the Human Resources function. This role is critical in strengthening employee relations, driving HR best practices, and building a positive, performance-driven work culture aligned with the school’s values and long-term vision.

The HR Manager will oversee HR generalist operations, employee engagement, compliance, and team management while working closely with leadership and administrative teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end HR generalist functions across the organization
• Handle employee relations, grievance management, and conflict resolution
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning in collaboration with department heads
• Manage HR policies, procedures, and statutory compliance
• Drive performance management, appraisals, and talent development initiatives
• Lead and mentor the HR team, ensuring efficiency and accountability
• Support leadership with HR strategy, workforce analytics, and organizational development
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and values-driven workplace culture

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role
• Strong experience in Employee Relations and team handling (mandatory)
• In-depth knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance frameworks
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with maturity and discretion
• Experience in educational institutions or large organizations is an added advantage

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in HR / IR / Relationship Management / MSW / ER or equivalent qualification
